In the realm of the day to day we can find simple pleasures that fill us with great joy.
On Friday I went to my granddaughter’s school for a grandparents lunch. I sat next to my precious sweetheart who told me all about everything in the school. Her favorite teacher who sat at our table, her best friend who was a few tables over, well she really has two best friends, and when I took a picture of the first graders singing she asked me why I’m taking a photo since she’s not in it LOL. And when I opened my napkin she showed me how to place my utensils the correct way. And I was gifted with these gorgeous roses.
A joyous memory I will hold forever in my heart.
Grateful for simple pleasures.

I had a great day last Wednesday – lunch with two childhood friends – we don’t see each other often, so there was much catching up and laughter 🙂
