What a Kind Word Can Do

I don’t think this will be a surprise to anyone, but giving away a kind word is free.  A positive kind word will definitely inspire an inner shift in how we feel.  Just think of how you felt the last time someone gave you a compliment out of the blue, telling you – great job…you look beautiful…I bet that felt pretty good, It most likely lit you up and put a smile on your face.  🙂

kind word

A positive kind word can change someone’s day or even days.  So, let’s dole it out, let’s give it freely from our heart, it’s free, especially now during the holiday season when we’re all so busy rushing about trying to get it all done, and maybe feeling a bit stressed with all that is on our to do lists.  Receiving a kind word can uplift our spirit and create a sense of well-being.  Just a simple – thank you – coming from the heart can touch someone in a special way and transform their day.

And you never know, your kind word may have a ripple effect, that person now may turn around and do the same, and change someone else’s day.

So let’s do it, my kind word for you lovelies is – You are AMAZING!!!

Kindest Blessings

A Message of Hope from the Universe

I was looking through Instagram last week, not really paying any particular attention to anything, I’m still recovering from the surgery and my concentration right now is very minimal, when suddenly these words just jumped out at me and struck me – this too shall pass – Oh WOW!!! I turned off my phone and  I quickly wrote them down so i don’t forget them.  I sat there holding them inside of me, allowing them to linger taking in their meaning and their magick.

pass4

These words were exactly what I needed.  I’ve been so caught up in the web of this recovery, that I’m not seeing the light.  Mostly I have no energy and I’m dragging through the days.  In my last blog post (here) I wrote about being deliriously happy because I can drive myself now, and I am but, I’m far from recovered.  This recovery is not a walk in the park, I’m not back to my normal self and I haven’t been able to get back into my daily routine, into a rhythm that supports and uplifts my life every day.  I know it will take time but I wasn’t remembering this when those words screamed out at me.

When we’re going through a rough patch, no matter what it is, a divorce, a recovery, an emotional time, we don’t remember that things will get better, that we will get through this, that we will be ok.  It’s hard to see an end, it’s hard to envision light when in the dark.  But, the truth is that whatever we’re going through, is not going to last forever, it will get better.  We live in a universe that is always changing and moving and so are we, that’s just how it is.  And regardless of anything, as this amazing Universe reminded me, the truth is that no matter what –

this too shall pass.

I’m carrying these words with me, empowered and hopeful with the knowing that I’ll be ok and I’m hoping that it brings you comfort as it does for me – knowing that whatever you’re going through is not forever and will pass.

A Message from Your Angels

Be conscious of nourishing your joy.

It’s so easy to get lost inside the everyday hustle and to forget your joy.

conscious joy

Reminder alert here –

Nourish your joy every day, don’t let it fall to the wayside and let yourself get caught up in negative thoughts that are not serving you well.  Be conscious of your joy, if you’re not feeling it, stop and ask yourself what are you feeling?  How important is that feeling to you?  If it’s not brining you joy, why are you holding on to it?  Let it go, get conscious and do something that brings you joy, and hold on to that instead.  This can be as simple as taking a break and sitting quietly having a cup of coffee, calling on your angels and asking them to help you feel joy, drawing a doodle for a few minutes, or mindfully affirming that you are joy.  Your body, mind and soul will thank you, and your angels will be dancing all around you.

Your angels want you to know that joy is your gift, and you’re here to feel joy – allow joy to flourish.

An Invitation for 2019

My intention for 2019… a sweeter life.

This year I’m inviting  all of us to remember that we’re already cherished and loved by the one greatest universal force.

We’re invited to love ourselves without limitations and without guilt and as deeply as we can.

new year

We’re invited to shed the light on who we truly are – magnificent – deserving – worthy – loving – healthy – amazing – resilient… humans having a life here, just one of many.  Experiencing the spectrum of what life can bring us.  Learning to navigate through the rough waters, our fears and the sun-shiny days.

We’re invited to remember that we are more powerful than what we think.  That we can overcome, remove the walls, and reign supreme over our lives.  We are the magic wands of our life. (here)

This is my prayer for 2019, my invitation – to share what I’m inspired to create and what I know about living a sweeter life.  To cherish every moment even those that will have me fall off the wagon and into the pit, and the emotional break down ones, and that I can pull myself out and I can open my heart and be more and give more and receive more.  And that I can, and we all can, shine our light a lot brighter than what we are.

So I invite you to join me on this journey in 2019 and live the invitation of –

a sweeter life.

With gratitude and love – Happy 2019!!! Wishing all health, prosperity, happiness, love, magic and lots of blessings!!!

A Simple Way to Create a Little Altar

I love creating small altars that I can place around my home, they always fill me with great joy, like this little altar that I’m using as a table scape, that captures the season in a magical way for me.

inspire

You don’t have to spend a lot of money or go all fancy, just collect items that you already have.  Let yourself be guided by your spirit and put together things that are meaningful to you, and feels good to you.

I used a serving platter and put pine cones that I’ve had for a couple of years, some of my crystals, the green branches from the flowers I bought yesterday, three tea candles, something I always have in my home, and the inspiration rock I bought for 99 cents at Hobby Lobby.

Every time I walk by it, I stop and allow it to work its magic and I say thank you, or I’ll say a little blessing.  For me this is a sacred act of self-care, a moment in which I can get lost into and receive the gifts of Spirit.

I hope I’m inspiring you to create your own magical altar and I’d love it if you share it here in the comments.

Blessings

I Rise Up

A lifetime habit of putting yourself down and believing you’re not good enough or capable enough, or educated enough, doesn’t end just because you said a mantra, journaled about it, affirmed that you are worthy.  Or because you became more spiritual, are meditating or saying positive affirmations…

i rise up

A lifetime habit of putting yourself down is a work in progress and no matter how far you’ve come, those crazy old I’m not good enough thoughts, I don’t know enough, I don’t measure up, let me not get too big, show off.  I’m not whatever – enough – will when you least expect them to, they will creep back into your consciousness, stop you dead in your tracks, and leave you frozen in time unable to move.  And the thing is that you may not even notice that you’re inside the self doubting yourself roller coaster…

You have to always be conscious of the thoughts that are inside you ruling you.  When you become aware and realize, just stop for a minute, and ask yourself –

Is that really true?  Do I really believe that I’m not good enough? Do I really believe I’m not worthy enough? Or, deserving enough?  Do I really want to make myself less important?  Maybe you want to journal about it and go deeper, there is always another deeper layer, and find out where these thoughts are coming from, or why.  And when the answer rises, say thank you, thank you, thank you, and – rise up!

Blessings
