Ways to Simplify

Slow down.

Declutter.

Set boundaries.  Say yes, only to what you really mean yes to.

Accept to love yourself without guilt or shame.

Let go of what doesn’t matter.

Let go of what’s not yours to worry over.

Let go of other people’s drama.

simplify

Liberate yourself and let go of limiting beliefs.  Weed them out and let go of them, and  take that first step towards freedom.

You choose – decide to be healthy, happy, prosperous, worthy, deserving, loving…

Have gratitude for the little things, even the ones you think are meaningless.

You cannot get to your true self while you’re covered up with overwhelm.

Live consciously.

Create an easy morning routine that supports you.

When you simplify your life you’ll gain more energy, you’ll remove extra mental and physical clutter, you’ll feel lighter, you’ll gain space and time.  You’ll be opening doors to your own inner self.

Simplify your days, simplify your life.  Make room for your true self to shine.

Love to hear your thoughts.

A Sunday Love Note

Hello everyone,

How are you now a couple of weeks into the new year?  I feel really excited and ready to create new content and move into a new direction.  I’ll be sharing ways to “Love Yourself” and “How to Manifest Your Desires” to live a Sweeter Life.  So psyched!!!  🙂

And talking about self-love, here’s a little Sunday love note reminding you to –

pink flower

Go gently with yourself today.

Ask yourself how you want to feel.  What would make you feel pampered today?

Put away your to-do list and give yourself a little rest, it’s OK to do nothing sometime. 🙂

I was inspired by the lovely Sarah Jensen today, I’m doing a journaling course with her, you can find her over here.

I’d love to hear from you, how are you pampering yourself today?

A Note From the Universe

Sometimes we get so comfortable in our ways, in our habits, in our same thoughts that we don’t want any change, we want to stay in the same comfy of the familiar, like being wrapped up in an old familiar blanket.

closed minded

But the thing is that if we resist anything new and we don’t invite change into our life and we stay closed minded to any new ideas and possibilities, we’re not opening new doors within and growing.

Have an awesome weekend!

How to Get Yourself Out of a Funky Mood

Life happens and we all fall into the pit of – funky mood – at times.  When that happens here’s one way that you can pull yourself out when you realize that you have fallen down the pit of funky mood.

Writing

Write out a gratitude/pick me up list.

Write down ten things that you’re grateful for about yourself.  And don’t worry it doesn’t have to be perfect, there is no such thing, there is no right or wrong.  This list is for you, don’t worry about grammar, or punctuation, or what someone else will think.  And yes, let yourself be totally – selfish and self-absorbed – who cares.  This is a self-love/pick me up out of funk letter to yourself.  So, take three deep breaths, put a smile on your face and start writing –

Some examples:

I am grateful that I got my nails done.

I am grateful for my beautiful hair.

I am grateful that I am awesome.

I am grateful for my mind.

I am grateful for my breakfast.

I am grateful for my health.

I am grateful that I am safe and secure.

I am grateful that I am spectacular.

You can also write:

I am powerful.

I am strong.

I am confident.

I am precious.

No negatives allowed here and don’t limit yourself it doesn’t have to be fabulous, you’re not in competition with anyone. Find things that you can say about yourself.  I am a great baker.  I love to read magazines.  You’re just going to write out ten things that you’re grateful for, pick me ups that will uplift your spirit.  I am grateful that I lost 4 pounds.  I am grateful that I walked up the stairs…If you have more than ten write them, and if you don’t have ten, then just find five or three.

When you’re done, read your list out loud to yourself, but don’t read it like a robot, read it and let each gratitude/pick me up seep into you, embrace it, feel it to be the truth of you, give thanks for it.  Read your list again throughout the day, read it as many times as you need to, modify it if it feels good.

Writing out a gratitude/pick me up list will change your funky mood to – JOY!

A Pause in the Day

A simple pause in the day –

tree green2

It’s amazing what a moment of pause, of placing your focus on something else can do for you.  While I was out earlier, I was lost in thought thinking about how limited I am right now in my mobility, how life has a way of slowing you down, when suddenly I noticed the tree with its green leaves against the blue sky and the gorgeous clouds, and everything changed, and gratitude showed up.

Happy day!!!
