“If there ever comes a day where we can’t be
together, keep me in your heart,
I’ll stay there forever.”
Winnie the Pooh
My beautiful darling mother passed eleven years ago today.

She was a holocaust survivor; she was the only survivor out of her entire family. She knew about love and pain and suffering and horrors. She survived the gas chambers of Auschwitz, and she somehow escaped her sentence to be killed 3 times.
She was the strongest woman and the most courageous woman I will ever know.
She knew about forgiveness and even after all that she suffered, all that she stood witness to and all that she saw, all that she lost in her life – even after her heart was torn out of her, she somehow still believed, still had faith, still went on and built a life.
She loved to laugh, she loved jokes, she was humble, she always made the best of what she had, and she loved her children unconditionally. She gave my brother and me all that she had within her to give.
She had the strength to go on after my father passed and still take care of two small children, while being all alone in this world. She had no one to rely on, no one to ask a question, no one to trust. And somehow she trusted and somehow she still worked hard and we had a home, thanks to her.
When she was in her senior years and I would ask her how will I survive without her? She always said that her spirit will always be with me.

Well my darling mother, I feel your spirit with me everyday.
I honor you, I am grateful to you, and I love you with all my heart.

I nourish myself with love today
Look for love in your day
Give yourself loving thoughts and loving words
Draw a heart and place it on your fridge
Find one thing to love about yourself today
Write the word LOVE on a sticky note and place it on your bathroom mirror, on the door so you can see it on your way out, the dashboard in your car, on your computer, on your fridge, place it on your night stand next to your bed
Make one healthy food choice today
Give yourself a hug
Buy yourself a small present
Take a moment and have a hot cup of tea and just sit and reflect on your wonderful self
Remember you are divine
Dance in your living room for no reason
Laugh
Sing
Wash your body with love
Buy yourself flowers for no reason
Smile at a stranger
When you love yourself you are automatically giving out loving energy into the universe
How are you loving yourself today? Love to hear from you.
Blessings
