What You Need to Know About Strength

There’s no question in my mind that I am now opening up to a higher level of conscious awareness, and that I’m transitioning into a higher place.  Actually I’m already in this higher place.  And in this higher awareness I have the ability to heal myself and others in a deeper greater way.  And for this I need the support of – strength energy.

The Strength card came to remind me that I have this energy within me and I’m being guided to summon it for this new journey I’m on.  Strength is the energy that I’m to lean on and walk with on this new path, it will support me on this journey of a higher conscious awareness.

I think sometimes we forget that we have this energy within us, and that we can summon it anytime.

This is a reminder that Strength is within you, that you’re not alone and you do have all the support you need.   Call on it, bring it out to the surface.  You may need it because you’re going through a physical challenge. Or, starting a new endeavor, a new job, ending a relationship, or are scared to make the change you know you need to make.  Or, you may be in a time of transition.  Whatever it is, you have the Strength energy within you, lean on it, let it support you.  If you believe in angels, spirit guides, or any other cosmic beings, call on them to help you access your Strength energy.  It will serve in your healing and on your journey.

The energy of Strength within you is unlimited, and you can draw on it for support at anytime to bring balance and wellbeing to yourself.

Which Oracle is Calling to You

I’m creating a 44 oracle card deck *Magical Journey* and I’m so excited to share with you four of my oracles.  At first I thought they would all follow the same look, but as I’m discovering they each have their own distinct feel, look and vibrancy.

These oracles ask you to enter into your own inner sanctuary. That place where your wisdom lies. Where you can cross over thresholds into wonder. Where the mystery of this universe is waiting for you to unravel it.  So sit still, open your heart, listen and allow yourself to be taken into your inner journey –

Let the oracles speak to you, pick the one that is pulling at you, the words and images are meant to awaken you – reflect on them, recognize them, go beyond the basic meaning of the word that you’re familiar with.  Unravel it’s gifts – it holds magic for you.  You may want to start by looking the word up in the dictionary to refresh your knowledge of it.  Listen within, what feelings arise from this word, are they good, do they evoke fear, don’t stop the feelings let them rise let them guide and show you their energy, their mystery.

Only you can open the doors within…

And in the end I’m not sure if all of these will be a part of my final oracle deck, but for now they seem to and I hope you have fun with them.

I really would love it if you would let me know how the card you chose touched you. What magic did you uncover? How did it guide you?  Please share in the comments below or you can connect with me privately, I’d love to know.

Blessings from the Oracles

Hello 2018 – How I’m Making this MY Year

Hello 2018 – I’ve decided that this is MY year.  The first of many more – MY YEAR!  I’m immersing myself in creativity, enchantment and other delightful adventures.  I’m starting this year really strong and rooted in not only creating but being a participant, a co-creator with universal forces in making this MY year.

I believe that the key to having a successful year of getting done what I’m intending to, is to plan, be actively involved and see my plan visibly in front of me every day.

To support me on my journey this year I joined two year long groups. The Wonder Club, with Victoria Smith and One Little Word 2018, with Ali Edwards. Each are packed with wonderful lessons to learn, ideas, lots of creativity and supportive communities.  Love them.

To hold it all together I bought a regular three ring binder and I’m calling it, My Magic Planner, which is a combination of a few things in one. Planner, scrapbook, magic.  Mostly it will hold my journey, month by month, my reminder that I want to step into a higher place. On the cover from the world of Tarot, I have The Queen of Wands by Emily Balivet. There’s much written about this queen, one of it being that she asks us to be bold and courageous in what we decide to do, and since I boldly and courageously decided that this is MY year, I think she’s a perfect guide.

my 2018 book

My magic planner and what to hold inside of it is in the process of unfolding, here’s what I have so far –

On the first of each month I’ll be picking two Oracle cards for guidance, possibilities and wisdom. These are the two cards that came up for me for this month.  “Expectation” from Connected and Free Oracle deck from Inner Hue, and “The Fates” from Wisdom of the Oracle cards by Colette Baron-Reid.  Interestingly snake first showed up for me in January of last year and again in November of last year and here she is the first card for this year.  Mmmmmmm.

I have a section that I’m calling Reminders – where I’m writing down things that I need to remember all the time so I don’t forget them.  I’m keeping this in the front for easy access.

I’m also creating a special section for Quotes and Affirmations that will show up.  I’m starting with this one I love from Mary Oliver “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life.”  I also have a section for AHA moments. And my great accomplishments, no matter how big or small they matter.

I have dividers with pockets to divide each month and each section and I’ve placed words that highlight that month in each.  I used color index cards for this and they’re only attached with a clip so easy to move around and make changes.  I decorated this one with three little stars to give it some extra pizzazz.  I used silver and gold stick on stars that I found in Hobby Lobby.

Things that I want to concentrate more on this year is, learning more about the Tarot and Oracle cards.  Photography, Instagram and other social media and my blog here.

This year I’m hoping to add a couple of new areas to my blog.  One more about me and what I’m up to, more how to’s, and about leadership. Oh and of course I’ll be sharing more of my photography. I hope to continue to inspire and uplift you throughout this year.  I feel excited at the prospect and possibilities this year is holding out for me and a bit afraid at the same time.  But with “Trust” as my guiding word this year,  I’m committing to myself in a big way and this is the first step.

Thank you for following along with me, for your encouragement, and support, you inspire me.

I’d love it if you would share your planners, daily organizers, or whatever you use, love to see it.

Blessings

A Little About Tarot

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Tarot.

There are mysteries and magic in the Tarot that are golden keys to getting deeper into yourself.  Every time I draw a card I’m blown away by the guidance and the messages the cards offer.  They are tools to unlock the unconscious and to go beneath the surface into the otherworld.

I actually had been thinking about Tarot for years but never really did anything about it, it was just a thought I didn’t know anything about Tarot, I thought it was a fortune telling thing.  I got my first deck in 2015, but I couldn’t really get connected with it.  Last year I took a class and bought the RWS deck more because for the class, I wasn’t attracted to those either.  So I just kind of dabbled in and out of Tarot for over a year until one day there it was, that emotional connection, and everything about Tarot changed.

When you first look at it there’s so much to learn that it can be overwhelming but, I’m giving myself the gift of learning the Tarot, I know it’s not something you can learn and know overnight.  But I can’t put it down, Tarot is in my heart and under my skin.

The Tarot can wake the giants inside you and open the doors to magical gardens.

Every thing has meaning it’s filled with myth, symbols, numbers. There are the elements and scenes, humans and non-humans in the cards. Nature, astrology, fantasy…

The same card may reveal to you at times different secrets that it’s holding for you. The interpretation of the card can be slightly different from one day to the next and one deck to the next. It all depends on you. They touch upon your emotions; they invite your intuition to reveal them. Oh and lets not forget the flowers, animals, colors and the elements, each revealing a unique aspect of itself you can spend a lifetime learning Tarot and still not know every thing.

There are endless possibilities and infinite wisdom hidden in the visions and meanings of the cards.  It’s a great way of letting your intuition do the talking and getting in touch with your soul.

They are visual way showers. Gateways to the light and shadow parts hidden within you. They are transformational. That’s the beauty of the Tarot it’s filled with mystery giving you a glimpse into your own constantly changing inner world.

They are a mirror of you, they reflect back to you your own inner psyche.

They will point you to where you are on your journey. Within them lie the answers for you to unfold.  They will open your eyes to a situation.

And the funny thing about Tarot is, (if you’re feeling drawn to them don’t say I didn’t warn you,) is that you can’t have just one deck, or at least I can’t. It’s like eating one potato chip. They draw you to them, they become a part of who you are.

I don’t look at Tarot as a means to foretelling the future, I don’t believe any system can do that, but I do look on them as a means of divination. To learning about myself. To uncovering the mystery that wants to be seen.

And all I know is that everyday when I draw a card it’s the absolutely perfect card, depicting where I am in true raw form.

I am in love with Tarot.

Right now I’m taking a course with Susannah Conway, 78 Mirrors, it’s fabulous.  And I’m signed up for a class with Caroline Donahue,  Story Arcana so excited for this.

Are you a Tarot lover?  What are your favorite Tarot cards?  Would love to know.
