How to Nourish You

Your life is a gift, it’s something to cherish and take care of.

You’re made up of body, mind and soul and each part while being an entire whole onto itself, is a part of what makes up – you.  When you concentrate on one part over another you can become unbalanced, out of whack, and you can feel depleted and out of energy.

Nourishing all of you equally creates a well balanced frame that can support you.

MIND – Be mindful of the seeds you plant in the garden of your mind. Be mindful of the thoughts you allow to fester and grow.  They can either uplift and encourage, give you strength and insight or they can tear you down.  Remember to weed out the negative that can keep you from being the soul you came here to be and give the gifts you came here to give.  Weed out the small thoughts that are growing and hanging around.  Don’t water them.  Pull them out

BODY – Live mindful of the nourishment that you feed your body. Exercise regularly, and guess what?  It doesn’t have to be a rigorous work out, but our bodies were meant for movement – dance, run, walk around your neighborhood, lift your arms up high and back down a few times. Do whatever you can. Go outside let the sun touch your skin, sit outside and breath in the air, feel the wind touch your face. Give your body some love, tell it thank you for supporting you, tell your body you love it. Feed it nourishing thoughts of love and caring. Eat healthy. I love to buy locally grown (organic when I can) vegetables and fruits and know that not only am I feeding my body healthy nourishment, but I’m also supporting our local farmers.

SOUL – Spend some time in sacred space every day. Create a daily ritual that will connect you with the Divine and with your higher self. It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate, it doesn’t have to take up tons of time, just a few minutes sitting in contemplation of the Divine, repeating a mantra, giving thanks, writing in your journal all of these can be sacred moments that bring joy to your being and connect you to a higher love.

Thank you for being a part of this journey.  Come and share your routine for nourishing your life.

Every minute is an opportunity to create something new.

To change what we don’t like or want.

To let go of what doesn’t serve our highest good.

To open to receive.

To give.

To be grateful.

To heal.

To love.

Every Minute is an opportunity to – begin again.

To free ourselves of our limiting thoughts and embrace our un-limited wonder.

To be who we were meant to be.

To c r e a t e

We’re here to create!

I Love Trees

I love trees!

Trees have healing powers, when you stand next to a tree you can feel its energy. Their roots go deep into Mother Earth and their branches reach high up towards Father Sky absorbing the energies from below and above.

They provide shelter, oxygen, and nourishment for us.

They fill us with beauty and remind us of the seasons

Lets honor and embrace our trees with love

Lets give trees a blessing today!

Much love to our trees,

Full Moon, Abundance a Message

Today I was guided to pull a card from my Messages of Universal Wisdom, Empowerment Cards by Barbara Evans.   And ABUNDANCE is the card that jumped out of the deck as I started to shuffle.

It is especially perfect given that we enter full moon in Virgo tonight.

Set your intentions and confidently let them come true.

I’m not an astrologer but as I see it, this moon in Virgo is asking for me to step out of my victim mentality and open up to higher vibrations, ones that fill me with forgiveness and compassion for myself and others and asks me to step into a new higher consciousness.

It also asks me to let go of my limiting beliefs and enter into a relationship with and surrender to the mystery that this amazing Universe holds for me. To stop holding myself back and let the universal forces work through me. For me this signifies a deeper relationship with my Goddess who is patiently waiting to open new doors.

This card brings me the message of abundance in every way, but to receive it, I need to let go of what no longer supports me, start looking at things in a new way, and open to and accept the gifts that are waiting for me to unravel.

I welcome and invite you to share your thoughts.

Wishing you moon blessings and great abundance,

Trust and Surrender

The words TRUST and SURRENDER have come up a lot in recent days.

Today I pulled this card from my The Enchanted Map Oracle Cards by Colette Baron-Reid.

It’s letting me know that I’ve come to the end of a journey and that I have to let go of the old ways of doing things and the old ways of thinking, they are no longer supporting me in my highest.

This really touches me because I have known for a while now that  I’ve been holding on but I’ve been unable to let go.  I can’t stay here any longer, I’m at the end but I’ve been unable to see my way.   It’s time to take the next step into a higher level of consciousness and move into the new journey that is opening up for me.

It’s time to let go, believe and have faith in the Mystery and know that every thing I need will be and is being provided to me by my great Goddess.  When I will totally TRUST and SURRENDER a new way will open on this new journey for me to walk through.

I don’t need to see my way all I need is to take that leap into the mystery and trust and surrender into the Goddess that I know is holding me, guiding me, protecting me and showering me with her grace.

And then I opened my email and this was in my inbox from – terri st. cloud, bone sigh arts

it is in the commitment to trust that mountains begin to move. it is in the commitment to love, that walls begin to crumble, and it is in the commitment to one’s self that worlds unimagined begin to become real.

The journey is a forever unfolding spiral of higher levels of consciousness and there are always deeper levels of TRUST and SURRENDER that I need to move into.

Blessings on your journey
