Yesterday I had an AHA moment, I suddenly heard my thoughts and realized that, the thoughts I was having were keeping me away from the very thing I’ve wanted most.
It suddenly struck me that while I had this deep yearning to be connected in a deeper, greater way with my intuition, my higher self, my thoughts were not aligned with my deep desire and instead, they were a road block. To change that reality I have to change my thoughts.
Consciously choosing your thoughts is the key to living at your highest best. It’s the key to living the life you envision for yourself.

So let me get right to it:
The thing is that, every thought you have can either expand you or sabotage you. You’re either elevating yourself or you’re contracting and keeping yourself small. You’re either living from a place of fear or from a place of love. That’s the power of your thoughts.
Every thought you have about yourself, about Spirit about the universe, defines you. It dictates who you are, what you believe, what you feel and what you do. It creates the reality that you’re living every day. And, your thoughts don’t just stay in your head, they filter through to every part of you. Your whole entire system, your body, every organ in your body, every cell, every everything about you responds to the thoughts you carry in your mind.
Every thought creates a feeling, which creates an experience, which creates an action. No feeling, no emotion, no experience no action happens without a thought first.
What you hold onto to be the truth for you, is the reality that you live every day.
Have joyful thoughts and you feel joy. Have positive thoughts that uplift you and you feel empowered. Have thoughts that say you’re not good enough, that you’re less than and you feel defeated. Think you’re just never going to make it and you won’t, think that you can do anything and you will. This is not to say that you change a thought and whala you’re living on easy street and a million dollars falls into your lap. You’re co-creating your life with the universal mind, you also have to do your part in all of this, you have to take action that is aligned with universal law.
A couple of things that worked for me:
* Become conscious of your every thought. When you hear yourself having a thought that is putting you down or is not aligned with your goals and dreams, don’t beat up on yourself, just say thank you to your thought, let it go and change it to a positive thought, one that inspires you.
* Make positive affirmations a part of your daily self-care. Say affirmations to yourself that are kind, compassionate and aligned with your vision for yourself. I am good. I am wealthy. I am smart. I am loving. I am worthy. These words may not seem like anything special, but trust me they are a powerful key to changing your reality. They are even more powerful when you feel them. You can write your own or do a google search. If you write your own, write them in the present tense as if it’s already true. When I first started to say affirmations I didn’t believe in them and I was scared, I saw it as egotistic and self centered but I continued because they felt good. I still say affirmations every day.
So, here’s todays invitation for you – it’s possible for everyone to change, it just takes a willingness to and a dedication to, wanting to change. You have the choice of every thought that you have, you have the ability to change every single thought to a different one. As you accept this possibility and you will start to let go of that which is disempowering and sabotaging you, you’ll begin to embody more of your own truth and the vision you hold for yourself.
Every day is a fresh start to make changes, to become who you want to be – You are capable of amazing things!

Thank you so much for these words, really needed to read this today :-). It can be so hard to keep focused on changing our thoughts and tuning in to a more positive channel but the results can be amazing. I have never tried affirmations before but may well give them a try.

Oh I’m so happy this is what you needed to read and I hope you do look into affirmations, they are a very powerful tool. You can do a google search for positive affirmations there’s lots of them.

You hit on a topic I’ve been reading about (Deepak Chopra’s Metahuman is in my book basket)–and I’m all in, but it’s hard to change old habits! Good for you for being vigilant about it:).
