“The song that you’ve been holding back is the cause of your heart-ache. Don’t wait! You’ve got to sing your song as if your whole life depends on It.” ~Michael Beckwith
What are you gaining by playing small.
By hiding yourself away.
By not stepping fully into the circle of life.
What are you gaining by playing small.
By not picking up responsibility for your life.
By waiting for someone else to come along and decide for you.
By living inside guilt and shame and fear and blame and judgement and limitations…
Those are heavy dark energies to be carrying around with you.
They stand in the way of the light, they’re blocking the song of your soul.
And the truth is that, only you can remove the fears, only you can remove the guilt, only you can forgive yourself and others, only you can bring yourself out of the disempowering dark and into the higher light. Only you can toss those dark companions you’re walking with to the wayside.
Only you can “sing your song” as Michael Beckwith says.
Staying small does not empower you, staying small keeps you hidden behind the wall of – who do you think you are, stop being a show off, what do you know, you’re not good enough…staying small keeps you in the field of victim, keeping the magic away from you.
Only you can break through
Only you can say YES to your life
Only you can declare you’re ready
Ready
Ready
Ready
To live the life you are meant to live.
Only you can be in charge of your life, and actually small or grand consciously or not, you already are. Only you can direct, only you can transform, only you can move the walls and only you can step through them and cross the threshold into the light and –
only you can open the door to your salvation.
We each have a special purpose – a magical song inside us. We each have talents and gifts that we were blessed with that are unique to us, that only we have to give. But, when we play small, we’re hiding from our greatness, we’re not living in the enchantment of our days, we’re not honoring ourselves – we’re not living our souls purpose.

It is hard to break through, but I think once you do, the world is your oyster one small step at a time.

Sarah, definitely it was not an easy process for me, lots of inner work, but once I did I wondered why I held on like that. Thanks
